1xxx and 5xxx series of mirror aluminium sheet are taking up an increasing share either in industrial production or in our daily life. They are extensively used in various areas, such as curtain walls, furniture panels, label pieces for handbags and clothes, solar reflective panels, sign panels and so on. In spite of its beauty and brightness, it’s not so easy to be maintained.

Brightness of surface is the main reason why the mirror aluminium sheet is much more expensive than plain sheets, thus it's really crucial to protect its surface during further processing steps. As a result, mirror aluminium sheet manufacturers usually cover the sheets with plastic films protecting the surface from being damaged during delivery and further process. Usually the layer of film is left on the sheet while the sheet is made into smaller parts for various products, which protects the sheet surface from scratches, oil and stains. Some factories do not tear off the film even after a product is finished, leaving it as a protection against dust.

If you happen to own belongings with the polished mirror aluminium sheet, you need to keep it away from sharp things, for scratches are deadly to the surface of a polished metal sheet. When you need to clean it, please apply a soft piece of wiping cloth wet with common cleaning agents to wipe the surface gently for several times until dusts and stains are removed. Then wipe water off the surface with a piece of dry cloth.
