We often need to bend when processing products. Which aluminum sheet are more suitable for bending? In fact, there are still many aluminum sheet that can be bent. If only aluminum sheet can be bent, the most important thing is to combine the state of aluminum sheet.
For the aluminum plate state, we distinguish it according to the hard, semi-hard and soft state. The usual soft state mainly refers to the O state of the aluminum plate. The hard bending effect is basically not good. In the state of the aluminum sheet, generally H18, H19, H38, etc. It is all hard, the aluminum plate in the semi-hard state can be basically folded, and the H24 is semi-hard.
Soft temper bending is generally no problem, but because the aluminum sheet is too soft in this state, we generally use this state of aluminum plate for bending, and we must pay attention to the distinction between pure aluminum plate and alloy aluminum plate when selecting aluminum plate. Generally, the hardness of pure aluminum is not too high. The specific aluminum bending can be used for 1100, 1050, 1060, etc. It is recommended to use 1100-H26.
The hardness of the alloy aluminum sheet will be better. Generally, it can be bent with a semi-hard aluminum plate such as 3003 aluminum sheet, 3005, 5052 aluminum sheet. If 6061, 2024, and 7075 aluminum plate are too high in hardness, especially in the T6 state, they should not be bent. Unless you heat and fold, the difference between aluminum and poor aluminum is oxidation performance, tolerance, surface effect, and crystal precision. There is a difference between the uniform stability and the single bending effect. If the surface of the aluminum plate is painted, the quality is not recommended. It is considered to be 3003-H26, 3005-H24 or 5052-H34.
Above we are based on the common situation, in the actual application, it is recommended that you first test to make a decision.
